Propane

Farmers Pride is all about promoting safety for all users of propane. We commit to making safety a priority and offer programs to help our trained delivery staff to inject safety into the everyday thinking of their customers. In addition, we provide a full range of propane products and services — including innovative tools to help customers manage costs associated with propane market price fluctuations.

Nebraska State Law requires that beginning April 1, 2002 all propane cylinders with a 4-40 lb capacity must be equipped with an Overfill Protection Device (OPD). This includes cylinders used for grilling and camping. This OPD valve is a safety device which prevents the overfilling of the cylinder. Non-OPD cylinders cannot be filled after April 1st. Contact us for retrofits or new cylinders.
