 Farmers Pride Annual Scholarship

$400 Scholarship  

 High school senior enrolling in agriculture related program at an accredited post-secondary Nebraska College.   Must be high school graduating senior of Battle Creek, Bloomfield, Madison, Newman Grove, O'Neill, Pierce, Plainview, Oakland-Craig, Osmond, Neligh, Ewing, or Norfolk.

Application process

  • Student must complete application form and submit to Vocational Ag Instructor or Guidance Counselor of their school by March 1, 2020.  No packets allowed: only application with one typed essay page sheet attached will be accepted.   Ag Instructor/Guidance Counselor from each school will pick top two applications from that respective school and send to Farmers Pride by March 7, 2020.   Farmers Pride will determine and announce winner April 2020.  Scholarship payment will be made in January 2021 (The student's second semester of college).   Paid by check to the winner/school of choice following submitted record of enrollment (from fall semester) by student to Farmers Pride. 

Nebraska Cooperative Council Scholarship

Sons/Daughters of parents/legal guardians who have been members/directorse/employees for 3 years of a cooperative in good standing as a member of the Nebraska Cooperative Council for at least 5 years are eligible to apply.
  • UNL - one to an incoming student and balance to upperclass students with a major in agricultural business/economics - up to four $950 scholarships
  • NCTA (Curtis) - a student with a major in agribusiness or ag production systems - one $650 scholarship
  • Chadron State - an upperclass student with a major or minor in agribusiness - one $650 scholarship
