Transportation Driver

Job Requirements:

Position Purpose: This position is responsible for the driving and hauling of grain commodities from Avon, SD to processors directed by transportation manager. Includes the regular maintenance, repair, and cleaning of the tractor, trailer, and other transportation equipment. Other responsibilities include all activities consistent with the corporate objectives, purpose, and mission of the company.

Essential Functions:

Essential Duties

· Haul agronomy, energy, and grain products inbound and outbound of facilities

· Maintenance and repair of transportation equipment

· Submit record-keeping of all deliveries and transfers to Energy Department Manager

· Maintenance of daily log and activities

· Ensuring documentation of product within company and regulatory specifications

· Ensuring vehicle and documentation in compliance with regulatory specification

· Daily reporting to Energy Department Manager

· Assisting in the coordination of trips with all departments and locations

Secondary Duties

· Coordinate relationships with suppliers and vendors

· Other duties as assigned

Qualifications/Education Required: High School Diploma or equivalent/Experience/Licenses/Certifications

Previous tractor trailer driving experience preffered

· Current Commercial Drivers License (or ability to obtain, willing to train right candidate)

· Hazmat endorsement (desired)

· Developed communication and people skills

Job Type: Full-time

Expected hours: 40 – 60 per week
